3. TradeOutput’s role
TradeOutput is a software and educational tools company. It is not a brokerage, broker-dealer, investment adviser, financial adviser or financial institution. It does not execute trades, hold trading funds or manage investments. It does not provide individualized investment recommendations and cannot know whether a trade is appropriate for a particular user.
4. Calculator outputs are mathematical estimates
The Position Size Calculator uses the numbers you enter to compare whole-share quantities under your selected risk and position limits. Its recommended share count is simply the lower amount permitted by those limits. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold an investment, and does not tell you whether your selected limits are appropriate. The tool is not designed to calculate contract sizing for options, futures or forex.
5. Planned risk is not a maximum-loss guarantee
Position sizing does not eliminate risk, and risk management does not guarantee against loss. Stops may execute at different prices or may not execute as expected. Slippage, market gaps, fees, liquidity, execution differences, volatility and technical problems can cause actual losses to exceed your selected risk amount. The calculator does not model every cost or market condition.
6. Performance and hypothetical examples
Past performance does not guarantee future results. Hypothetical calculations do not guarantee an outcome. The dashboard figures on this site are illustrative interface examples only: they are not actual customer performance, verified trading records or expected returns. Product visuals represent future interface direction, not a functioning performance service.
7. Data and software limitations
Incorrect inputs create incorrect outputs. Check account values, prices, units and the selected long or short direction. Software and information may contain errors or be unavailable. A tool cannot account for every personal circumstance, market event or change in a trading plan. Independent review remains essential.
8. Future AI features
AI Coach is in development and is not available on this website. AI-generated information may be wrong or incomplete and may not reflect a user’s circumstances. Any future AI output will need to be reviewed independently and is not a substitute for qualified, individualized advice.
9. Performance analytics and review
TradeOutput Performance Dashboard and other planned analytics tools are intended to help organize and review trading records for educational and informational purposes. Metrics depend on the completeness and accuracy of records, assumptions, fees and calculation methods. Missing trades, incorrect classifications or incomplete costs can distort results. A historical pattern or favorable statistic does not establish that a strategy will work in the future. Analytics are not individualized financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
10. Third-party information
Where TradeOutput includes third-party research, market information, links or data, that material may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Its inclusion is not an endorsement or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold a security. Verify information with appropriate independent sources before relying on it. Third-party availability and accuracy are outside TradeOutput’s control; no live market-data service is currently provided by this website.
